Reply to a channel post
Channel conversations are organized by date and then threaded. The replies in threads are organized under the initial post so it’s easier to follow multiple conversations.Â

Select a channel.

Find the conversation thread you want to reply to.

Select Reply.

Type your message in the compose box and select SendÂ
.
Start a chat

Select ChatÂ
 in Teams. -
Select New chatÂ

In the To field, type the name(s) of who you want to chat with.

Type your message in the compose box and select SendÂ
.
Share a file
In a channel post reply

Find the conversation thread you want to reply to.
